Ella’s Story: Still Blooming
Meet the Original Littlest Daffodil
In the early years of Ella’s journey, while she was bravely facing leukemia at age 3, her mother, Melissa, was also battling breast cancer. Their family leaned on faith and each other through both journeys and celebrated together when both went into remission.
Years later, just as Ella entered adolescence, the family faced another storm: both Ella’s leukemia relapsed and her father, Christian, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, an incurable blood cancer. Now, as they walk this difficult road again -side by side -their love and faith remain the thread that unites them in hope.

A Family Still Fighting, Still Blooming
Ella is now a young woman, bravely enduring intensified treatments, with her family by her side. Christian is in ongoing treatment, working to stay strong for his family. Their story is still unfolding, but their faith-fueled hope is the thread that ties our hearts to theirs.
“Ella is a continual encouragement and comfort in dealing with my
transplant, surgeries, chemo, and life with cancer.”
Ella’s Dad, Christian Hoff
