After waiting seemingly for-EV-er, I was delighted when “The Littlest Daffodil” arrived today. Having enjoyed Lele Ste’s writing in the past (see “Lunarium”) I knew I was in for a treat. I was not disappointed.
“The Littlest Daffodil” is a beautifully illustrated children’s book that will inspire and comfort children of all ages who may be facing the uncertainty, frustration, sorrow, and utter bewilderment of uninvited illness or injury. Why, indeed, do bad things happen to good people? Although the ultimate answer to that question may have to wait for another time and place, this sweet story about a tiny, injured, and rather distraught little flower is bound to encourage and uplift anyone in need of encouragement.
